Charmaine Bazemore
Executive Director
Ms. Bazemore is a graduate of Temple University with a degree in Criminal Justice. She is extremely passionate about public service and bringing new ideas and initiatives to the George Washington Carver Community Center. Charmaine has over a decade of finance experience with hopes of passing on that financial literacy to the members of the community. Although she was not born here in Norristown, Charmaine has lived in the borough for over 20 years and has strong ties to the community. She attended the Norristown School System and is currently raising two daughters in the community she is so passionate about.
Charmaine is a hardworking, lovable, caring, enjoyable, goal-oriented, organized, and punctual young lady. She values hardwork, support, and consistency, she is also very focused on goals and timelines. She has a lot of love and passion for the Norristown Area, and values the relationships of the Community. She is working hard to create new programs, activities, and events to encourage and motivate our community. She is also adamant about bringing back some of the programs from the past that were so instrumental in the lives of many people she knows.
Charmaine is also networking with others and researching the many grant and funding opportunities, that are out there. She is diligently working on fundraising, grants for programs, grants for capital projects, as well as grants for additional educational and recreational activities that would benefit all members of the GWCCC members.

Charmaine is also a certified lifeguard with additional certifications in CPR and AED.
